History
Wortman Central Air was founded in 1968 by William P. Wortman and quickly grew to be one of Tulsa's Premier Heat and Air Companies. After many years of service to the community Mr. Wortman decided to expand and offer an expanded range of services. To that end, in 2005 Wortman Central Air purchased Performance Air & Cook's A/C Service. Robert and Dana Enochs, owners of both companies, became full time employees of Wortman Central Air. Robert Enochs, a State of Oklahoma licensed Mechanical Contractor, former Advanced HVAC/R Instructor, NATE certified technician and Energy Efficiency expert became the new General Manager and Dana Enochs an experienced Service and Installation technician with years of accounting and office management experience became the Office Manager.
In February of 2012, Robert and Dana Enochs bought Wortman Central Air from William P. Wortman and Mr. Wortman retired. Wortman Central Air continues to be a full service HVAC/R Mechanical Contracting Firm. Wortman Central Air has a sheet metal shop onsite and we service and install Residential and Commercial clients. Wortman Central Air also offers Energy Auditing, Energy Efficiency upgrades including air sealing and insulation. Wortman Central Air has the equipment and experience to install all insulation types including Blown, Batt both Fiberglass and Cellulose and foam insulation. Wortman Central Air is the only Building Performance Institute Certified Goldstar Mechanical Contractor in the State of Oklahoma. Wortman Central Air participates with all utility companies to offer rebates on qualifying high efficiency Energy Star Heating, Air Conditioning, Ductwork, Air Sealing and Insulation.
Robert Enochs is a State of Oklahoma licensed Mechanical Contractor, A RESNET (Residential Energy Services Network) Certified HERS (Home Energy Rating System) Rater, A NATE (North American Technician Excellence) Certified Technician with many certifications. Robert is a BPI (Building Performance Institute) Certified Building Analyst Professional and Envelope Professional and former Vice-President of ACCA-OK.
